Last week, Holly New, founder of STUDIO OF NEW and one of the pioneers of VR fashion, took to the stage at 3D London for an evening celebrating innovation across the 3D, visualisation and immersive technology industries.

Hosted by Nigel Hunt and the 3D London community, the event brought together artists, designers, developers and industry leaders to exchange ideas, showcase new technologies and explore the future of digital creation. The event saw Ewan Couper talk about his Z-Brush work which was incredible to see the level of depth and detail he has achieved through 3D.
Holly shared her journey as the world's first VR fashion designer, discussing how immersive workflows are transforming fashion design and opening new opportunities across gaming, XR and digital product development. The evening also sparked valuable conversations with professionals working across a wide range of creative industries, highlighting the collaborative spirit that continues to define the 3D community.
"One of my favourite parts of events like this is meeting people who genuinely love what they do," Holly said. "Every conversation leads to new ideas, collaborations and different perspectives. That's what makes this community so exciting."

As an international speaker, educator and consultant, Holly regularly delivers keynote talks, workshops and guest lectures covering VR, AI, digital fashion and emerging creative workflows. Through STUDIOOFNEW, she continues to champion knowledge sharing and help organisations embrace the future of immersive design.
